For a lightweight stroller that can also handle some difficult terrain, opt for a three-wheeler. The Thule Shine is a great choice, and we've called it the previous winner in this category. It's a bit more expensive than some of our other picks but it's solid and comes with plenty of features (car seat compatibility! Dual cup holders! that make it a worthwhile investment. It can also be folded to fit into the overhead bin of an airplane, making it an excellent choice for families that travel a lot.

The BOB Sport Utility
The BOB Sport utility is the best stroller to choose when you want to get off the beaten path and work out. The jogging stroller has pneumatic knobby tires that are ideal for trail runs, and a hand brake that lets you manage the downhills. It also features a state-of the-art suspension system, a two-step folding, and a large cargo basket. If you purchase the right adapters you can use it with an infant car seat.
The main drawback of this stroller for jogging is its weight and size when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches which is the average for this class. The size of its footprint makes it unsuitable for tight turns and narrow trunk spaces. It does however have an incredibly small handle at the back of the storage bin that can be pulled to collapse the stroller into a compact, flat position.
Despite its size, this stroller remains easy to move around. The front wheel features the ability to lock it so that you switch it from normal to locked jogging mode. The handlebar can be adjusted in height for different heights of parents. It also has a wide seat that reclines to nearly flat, and it also has an enormous vinyl peek-aboo window that's easy to open and close.
Another plus is the Sport Utility's remarkable quality that has earned it a rating of 9 out of 10 in this measurement. It is built with a strong aluminum frame with tight connections and no rough edges or poor stitching. It also has adjustable shocks, which aid in smooth-rolling performance.
The Sport Utility stroller, like the other BOBs in this review includes adapters for car seats that are optional. This allows you to use it with a variety of car seats for infants. It took us 5:24 minutes during our tests to put together the stroller from packing it up to getting it ready to go. It was easy enough to do, but you'll require a Philips head screwdriver to complete the task. The manual included is easy to follow and well-organized. However, it's still an excellent idea to have one in your case.
The Baby Trend Expedition
This jogger has been built with safety, fashion and convenience as its main priorities. It comes with a parent tray that includes two cup holders and covered storage, and a child tray that is able to swing away and includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-a-boo windows and a wide ergonomically-designed handle, provide comfort for both parents. The front wheel lockable can be unlocked while strolling, and locked for jogging. The large storage basket is ideal for storing essential travel items.
Consumer Reports' Strollers test program shows that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is an excellent value for the price and has higher scores than many of its competitors across several categories. The 5-point harness that folds, unfolds, adjusting backrest, braking the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's a simple design and a one-handed recline that's deep enough for napping. The canopy cover that has the ratcheting mechanism can be difficult. It takes around 8 minutes to put it in place. The instructions are confusing, with multiple languages mixed in with difficult-to-read drawings.
The only drawback to this jogger is the absence of suspension. This means that the ride will be bumpier than other strollers that are all-terrain. This can be uncomfortable for children who are younger, especially if their nap is about to begin. The air-filled wheels are great, but they don't provide the same amount of cushioning as rubber tires that are found on higher-end strollers.
This is a great option for those who don't exercise often, but still need to be able to easily move over gravel or grass without having to worry about curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great choice for families with limited space, as it folds into a relatively compact size. It is lighter than many of the other joggers we've tested and can fit in places where some full-size strollers cannot.

This latest version of Out 'n' Around's 3-wheeled running stroller has been specifically designed for jogging and comes with large pneumatic 16'' alloy tyres that can withstand the roughest paths and tracks. The Nipper is lightweight and compact which makes it easy to transport and fold.
This pushchair comes with an adjustable handlebar and front suspension, which makes it suitable for all terrains. It also has a multi-position recline seat and an adjustable quilted seat liner as well as a five-point safety harness and hinged bumper bar. It's also travel system-compatible which means you can use it with the Cybex Maxi-Cosi, Maxi-Cosi, or Be-Safe infant car seat.
Another excellent aspect of this buggy is the large front wheel, which can help ensure the smoothest ride for your child. This is essential, especially when you're tackling challenging terrain. It allows the buggy track better and glide better over bumps and dips. Nipper Sport is easy to drive and comes with one pedal brake. The handlebar has an ergonomic design and a single-pedal easy-lock brake with adjustable steering. The buggy folds easily, thanks to the clear instructions and pictures provided in the user guide.
The Nipper Sport is suitable for children up to the age of six months, and can be used with a newborn due to its built-in infant insert. It is not recommended to use it on babies younger than six months, as the harness is not tight enough to ensure their safety.
Another issue with this model is the absence of a storage basket under the seat. It has a small shopping pouch at the back of the seat, but it would not be big enough for an enormous changing bag. It's very simple to open and close. Only two hand-holds are required to release the plastic catch that is located on either side of the lower frame. There is a third lock catch on the red handlebar which can be opened with just one hand, making it incredibly convenient to use.
